Gregory A. Vaut, Managing Principal Mr. Vaut has over thirty years experience in the international food industry and agribusiness. Since 1991 he has served as an advisor to management and owners of major European, U.S. and Asian agro-industry and FMCG companies on assignments involving strategic planning, company turnaround and restructuring, acquisitions, and new business and market development. He has also served as an advisor to multinational institutions and governments on a wide range of economic and development issues and has consulted to non-profit and nongovernmental organizations in the USA and abroad. Mr. Vaut has held senior executive positions in the international divisions of two Fortune 500 food companies and line management responsibilities in commercial food processing and agricultural production, both in the USA and abroad. He has been professionally active in over forty countries. Mr. Vaut has been: An advisor to the boards and shareholders of four major Central European food companies. Interim CEO of a Central European meat processing company as part of a turnaround assignment for a European client

Central European FMCG companies CEO of the Foundation for the Development of Polish Agriculture, he built the country’s most important private farm inputs distribution business, supplying animal feeds, plant protection products, and farm equipment. He was also founder of the Jamaica Agricultural Development Foundation, a successful agribusiness venture capital organization. Leader of feasibility studies and due diligence assignments for investments in the USA and abroad, and has managed technical services programs and projects. - Manager of manufacturing and processing operations in the USA, Central Europe, Central America, and the Caribbean.
Mr. Vaut completed course work for a Ph.D. in agricultural economics at the University of Minnesota, and holds an M. S. in food and resource economics from the University of Massachusetts and a B. A. in political science from the University of Oklahoma.
